Responsible for handling operations, upgradation, and optimization of Wateen IP/MPLS Core network

Responsibilities
Provide Level 1 & 2 support to customers and internal stakeholders
Work closely with Strategy and Planning teams for integration and testing of various products and services
Deployment of customers MPLS and internet links and manage NMS like Cacti, What’s UP Gold, Manage Engine App Manager
Deployment of PPOE user configuration and manage daily operations
Coordination with vendors for operational issues
24×7 Availability required to handle network outages and Planned activities
Provide assistance to Core OPS Manager as required
Required Knowledge and Skills
Good understanding of TCP/IP MPLS (L2/L3 VPN) , MPLS-TE, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, inter-as, carrier Ethernet, Qos.
Hands on with Cisco Routers (7600, ASR900, ASR9000) and switches (6500, Nexus 9000,3750)
Having depth knowledge of PPPoE
Must have good understanding of Layer 2 functionality
Good understanding of IPV4 and IPV6 Dual Stacking
Knowledge of VPN configurations
NMS traps handling
Should have good knowledge of GPON network architecture
Must have working experience and understanding of DHCP and relay agent concept
Candidate having ISP/TELCO experience will be highly preferred
Excellent communication skills to interact with and assist all various levels within customer organization. Must have excellent written, oral communication and listening skills
Self-motivated with solid leadership and collaboration skills
Candidate must be Lahore resident
Education & Experience
5 – 8 years relevant experience in deployment, configuration and supporting large, complex, TCP/IP/MPLS-based networks
Bachelor’s Degree (Electrical/ Telecom)
Network certification (CCNA/CCNP/HCNP, CCIE/HCIES) is a strong advantage
