  • Position Summary:

Manager IT Infrastructure is responsible for leading a group of IT professional managing all facets of the organization’s technology infrastructure, including architecture, capacity planning, administration, operational management and troubleshooting to ensure the efficient, stable, reliable and secure operations of the organizations technology.

Lahore

  • Responsibilities:
  • Lead the IT Infrastructure and operations functions of network engineering, database administration, systems engineering and administration in addition to providing the technology foundation for the company’s enterprise business systems and applications.
  • Audit, analyze and review IT Infrastructure requirements.
  • IT Infrastructure capacity planning and optimization.
  • Prepare and manage operational management and disaster recovery plan.
  • Information security program definition and rollout.
  • Network QoS (Quality of Service) design and implementation.
  • Rollout and Management of all Voice over IP applications (Unified Communications).
  • Databases, Storage Backup and Virtualization platforms management.
  • Proactively introduce new technology solutions for current business problems and keep abreast of new and emerging technologies and their impact on the enterprise architecture.
  • Participate in formulation IT Strategy and Roadmap.
  • Participate in budgeting and financial planning, pertaining to IT services.
  • Skills:
  • Accomplished technologist, skilled in architecture, system engineering, network engineering, disaster recovery / business continuity, regulatory compliance, and cloud computing.
  • Experience managing vendors and multi-sourcing relationships
  • Working knowledge of managing a mixed environment of  Linux, and Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, client-server and Web architectures, business applications, Oracle and MySQL Databases, firewalls, information security tools and applications, network management, and an expert understanding of IT operations and best practices (ITIL, etc.)
  • Strong business and technical vision with experience in setting strategies, roadmaps, and budgets.
  • Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor of Computer science or preferably Masters of Computer Science.
  • 10 to 12 years of experience in managing infrastructure operations for large-scale systems across multiple hardware and software platforms.
