Position Summary:
Embark on a Dynamic Role as Manager of Safety & Compliance!
As a vital member of our safety team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our employees and the protection of our assets. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing fire and safety equipment, implementing emergency evacuation plans, conducting regular safety checks, and providing training to staff members. You will be the driving force behind creating and upholding a seamless ‘Health, Safety, and Environment’ framework within the organization, ensuring a culture of safety and well-being for all.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and inspect all fire and safety equipment to ensure they are in optimal working condition
- Develop and oversee comprehensive emergency evacuation plans for efficient evacuation during fire emergencies
- Regularly perform fire safety inspections to identify and address potential hazards or violations
- Conduct training sessions to educate co-workers and employees on general fire safety protocols and procedures
- Organize quarterly training sessions focused on firefighting techniques and first aid procedures
- Collaborate with staff during emergency situations, providing guidance and ensuring a coordinated response
- Collaborate with the Head of Field Operations to enforce the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) among field staff
- Propose and implement workplace designs that minimize hazards and reduce reliance on personal protective equipment
- Maintain close communication with the security department to ensure a unified approach to safety and security measures
- Undertake any additional tasks or responsibilities assigned by the line manager or Head of Department to support overall organizational goals and objectives
Required Skills:
- Demonstrate a profound understanding of pertinent fire safety codes and regulations
- Exhibit exceptional communication and organizational skills, along with a keen aptitude for vigilant surveillance
- Showcase proficiency in reporting and proficiency in developing comprehensive emergency response plans
- Possess strong reporting skills, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of safety-related matters
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Management
- Security-related courses / training would be a plus
- 5-7 Years of experience in relevant field
