Position Summary:
We are looking for a senior BI and Data Management specialist who will be closely working with the clients to develop and deliver customized BI solutions including but not limited to ETL, Data Pipelines, Data Warehouse in cloud/on-prem, BI dashboards/reports, Data Science AI/ML. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a growing team of experts in an agile manner and will be responsible for all phases of a project, pre-sales, delivery, and managed services

Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders from client organizations to determine functional and non-functional requirements for BI and Data Warehouse projects
- Develop best practices for data architecture, warehouse design, ETL architecture, data model, and data management
- Create reports and dashboards as per client requirements
- Perform as-is and to-be analysis for a client data warehouse. Advise on the appropriate technology to replace legacy systems
- Plan and deliver data migrations from legacy to consolidated new data warehouse as per client requirements
- Develop documentation like a run book, build guide, and system appreciation document
- Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers
- Remove technical roadblocks during the development phase
Required Skills:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in BI/Data warehouse/ETL
- Advance SQL language skills to write complex queries with joins/lookups
- Hands-on experience developing reports and dashboards with leading BI reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Spotfire
- Experience migrating data for OLTP and OLAP database layers in the cloud
- Very strong in Data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and metadata management. Data lakes, multi-dimensional models, and data dictionaries
- Thorough understanding of ETL architecture
- Knowledge of AI/ML and data science languages like R/Python
- Experience with one or more industry-leading mainstream data warehouses platforms such as Snowflake, Data bricks, AWS Redshift, and Azure Synapse
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Good command of source control (Git, SVN) and understanding of defect-tracking systems
- Working knowledge of cloud stack (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
- The ability to work in cross-functional environments with remote teams and demonstrate problem-solving skills
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science
- 8+ years of prior relevant experience
Preferred:
- Informatica ETL Development experience
- Snowflake data warehouse development experience
