SENIOR SECURITY ENGINEER
Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Cisco Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the Cisco security infrastructure for our organization. They should be well-versed in Cisco security technologies and have worked in large enterprise environments to implement solutions.

Main Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage the Cisco security infrastructure for our organization
- Recommend security enhancements based on current industry trends and emerging threats
- Perform technical assessments and develop security designs to protect our network and systems from cyber threats
- Manage and configure Cisco security solutions such as ASA, Firepower, ISE, AnyConnect, and Email Security Appliance
- Develop and maintain security policies and procedures that align with industry standards and best practices
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, including performing forensic analysis and remediation
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team
- Collaborate with other teams to identify and mitigate risks to the network and systems
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging threats and recommend security enhancements accordingly
- Participate in security audits and assessments
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of network protocols and architecture, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
- Experience with security tools such as vulnerability scanners, IDS/IPS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Self-motivated with solid leadership and collaboration skills
- Have customer facing experience
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in Cisco security engineering and architecture
- CCIE Security certification is mandatory
- Design, implement, and manage the Cisco security infrastructure for our organization
- Strong understanding of Cisco security technologies including ASA, Firepower, ISE, AnyConnect, and Email Security Appliance
- Experience with security protocols such as SSL, TLS, IPSec, and VP
