Solar Sales Specialist

  • Position Summary:

Primarily responsible for revenue generation as per set targets and KPIs. The candidate will be a solar specialist having strong techno/commercial background to support other divisions on their solar leads along with their own leads. Primary role is to find out about customer needs and link them to the right solar solution.

Lahore/Karachi/Islamabad

  • Responsibilities:
  • Proactively consolidate market intelligence in monitoring market pricing and trends
  • Acting as a spokesperson for the organization at sales events and conferences
  • Accurate forecasting and sales reporting
  • Working on account management plans with the sales account managers
  • Growing market share of Wateen in the industry
  • Forecasting and accomplishing annual, quarterly, and monthly sales goals
  • Developing specific plans to ensure growth both long and short-term
  • Educating other sales teams with presentations of strategies, seminars, and regular meetings
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking and other relationship building techniques
  • Develop and maintain high coordination with institutional customers 
  • Manage receivables constantly by coordinating with accounts department as well as the customers as and when need arises, ensuring that the customer is well informed about orders and payment status 
  • Assist senior management during the bidding process and participation when aiming at acquiring tenders by providing bid quotations and ensuring all requirements for submission are fulfilled 
  • Carry out other duties as and when assigned by immediate supervisor 
  • Arrange short/large seminars, awareness activities with builders, corporates and with different industries. 
  • Establish contracts with provincial energy departments, their design teams, consultants and maintain data bank for existing and upcoming tenders/projects
  • Assists with the qualification of the opportunities and/or identification of target accounts
  • Developing profitable customer relationships
  • New ways to nurture existing customers and guarantee long-term growth
  • Account management benchmarks that build more profitable customer relationships and support organization’s long-term strategy

  • Sales and management of large-medium size deals 
  • Track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets 
  • Excellent understanding of enterprise and corporate business 
  • Strong knowledge of using sales processes and opportunity management
  • Education & Experience:
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering/business
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in sales preferably solar sales
